Fashion Spotlight: Princess Vera Wang
Fall and winter is fraught with fashion perils, but lucky for us, Princess Vera Wang is consistently fashion-forward.
Check out the 2013 Princess Vera Wang Collection for cute dresses, enviable coats, and comfortable Pjs.
By now you know that I’m a fan of Vera Wang’s new juniors line at Kohl’s, so it shouldn’t surprise anyone to hear that I’ve been looking forward to Princess Vera Wang’s January and February 2013 collection. Known for their focus on femininity and comfort, Princess Vera Wang features designs for every possible occasion.
OUTLOUD recently received some editorial samples for the collection, so some of us decided to model the clothes around the office for you. Here are the results: beautiful clothes worn by real women rather than unrealistically thin models. Take a look and tell us what you think!
Though this coat is not very appropriate for Miami’s sunny weather, it is very appropriate for my upcoming trip to Europe. Paris, here I come!
The subject of compliments via Facebook, Twitter, and text, this coat is my favorite piece from the Princess Vera Wang collection.
The bell sleeves are lovely, the coat is warm and functional, and the buttons add an interesting element of design usually absent from the regular old peacoat.
Wear this coat over a long-sleeved sweater in very cold weather, or try it over a pretty dress with tights and knee-high boots – you’ll be the belle of the ball.
Day Around Town
Juniette is wearing a holiday party-appropriate red dress with a tulle skirt, and I’m wearing a light black dress with neon yellow trimmings and a glittery belt.
Though we chose to use sunglasses as our primary accessories (again, testament to sunny Miami weather), I would recommend warmer outerwear for the winter. Both dresses would look great with a trendy black coat.
Look! We’re reading the newspaper (past issues of OUTLOUD Multimedia, soon to be available on your tablet) and drinking coffee!
Just kidding. Or not. I actually have worn these pajamas – the gray ones – around the house, and let me tell you, they are very comfortable. I feel like a princess decked out in stars and as comfortable as can be.
