With Miami growing at such a rapid pace it’s no surprise that The Knight Arts Challenge has encouraged the art scene to grow in our community. Since 2006, The Knight Foundation has invested more than $80 million to South Florida’s cultural community. These funds have paved the way for programs such as Wallcast, located at the New World Symphony campus, and giving every Miami-Dade third-grader admission to the new Perez Art Museum.
Do you have an idea on how to expose Miamians to art or to help the community blossom? Well, look no further: The Knight Foundation can make your dream a reality. The Knight Arts Challenge has three rules for applying:
1) The idea must be about the arts.
2) The project must take place in or benefit South Florida.
3) The grant recipients must find funds to match Knight’s commitment. The best receive Knight Foundation funds.
