Valentine’s Day it’s tomorrow and if you didn’t have the time to plan ahead a cute romantic date and gift idea for your better half or fiends, stay away from the couch and Netflix, because there are plenty of things you can do.

Here you have five last-minute ideas that will make you look thoughtful and cute:

Beach Stroll: The beach is a great place to go with your friends or a date. You can be adventurous by going on a tandem bike ride or kayaking in the afternoon. You can also have a picnic on the beach, go rollerblading, or have a volleyball game under the sun. And if you want to be romantic, take advantage of Miami’s fantastic and stupendous backdrop for a hand-holding sunset stroll.

Visit the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens: Visit the hidden waterfall, in the Romantic Garden, and relax as you take in the view of the colorful Japanese flowers and trees. Walk around one of the six historical gardens and take a stroll through the exhibitions of Japanese art.

Take an Art Walk in Wynwood: Explore Miami’s Art District and its unique art exhibitions and murals. Besides the famous Wynwood Walls, the art district is full of inexpensive restaurants, galleries, and other hidden spots to enjoy.

Wynwood Diner: If you spend Valentine’s Day at Wynwood or near that area, the Wynwood Diner is a cool, edgy place to eat. From unique burgers to full main courses, this diner has a lot to offer for a low price.

Watch a Movie in Miami Beach:  Cozy up under the stars for the SoundScape Cinema Series in the park at Miami Beach. Take a warm blanket and treat your date to Mexican or American food from one of the many food trucks that are there. If you’re with friends or family, enjoy a comedy or an animated film. After the movie, take a stroll down Miami Beach and enjoy the view.

These are just some suggestions to keep in mind, but there are many other places to explore in South Florida such as the zoo, the botanical gardens, and all the different nightclubs and bars. Regardless of where you go, the important thing is to remember what Valentine’s Day is about: celebrating love and friendship with the people you love.
