Some of the most anticipated films of the festival are: Norman: The Moderate Rise and Tragic Fall of a New York Fixer, with actor Richard Gere in attendance, Carlos Theron’s For Your Own Good (Spain) and the world premiere of A Change of Heart produced by Miami’s local Emilio Estefan.
The festival will also feature special panels and discussions by guests such as Oscar-winning director David Frankel, actress and writer Rashida Jones, and Spanish fashion icon Rossy de Palma.
Other special events include the second edition of Google Talks, a series of presentations addressing racial and gender inequality in the film industry, and Florida Stories, a program comprised of three short films set in or about South Florida.
