WHAT: Green Day – Revolution Radio Tour
WHEN: September 3rd, 2017
WHERE: Perfect Vodka Amphitheatre, West Palm Beach, FL.
When their breakthrough album Dookie was released in 1994, Green Day was widely credited with reviving and popularizing mainstream interest in punk rock in the United States. Ever since then, the band has been at the forefront of the punk rock scene, collecting five Grammys along the way and being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2015.
The band’s most recent album, 2016’s Revolution Radio, was received with universal acclaim, with critics praising the trio’s “back to basics” approach and considering it the band’s best record since 2004’s American Idiot. In support of the album, Green Day has been touring across the globe since last year, and on September 3rd, their Revolution Radio Tour will bring them to South Florida for the first time since 2009.
The Perfect Vodka Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach will serve as the venue for the concert, where special guests Catfish and the Bottlemen will be the opening act. While the tour serves to promote Green Day’s latest album, fans will also get to experience the band’s classic songs like “Basket Case,” “Boulevard of Broken Dreams,” and “Good Riddance.”
Tickets are still available and start at $27. For more info about the concert, including tickets and venue, click here.
