WHO: Post Malone
WHEN: October 17th, 2017
WHERE: Revolution Live Ft. Lauderdale
Post Malone’s rise to musical superstardom has been meteoric.
Two years ago, the Texas-based rapper was only a teenager attempting to make a name for himself in LA. Then came his unexpected, big break in the form of “White Iverson.”
The song became an overnight success, gaining over a million plays within a month of being released on Soundcloud. It garnered attention from all major music labels and eventually landed Malone a deal with Republic Records.
A couple of months after the success of “White Iverson,” Malone found himself collaborating with prominent artists such as Kanye West, 50 Cent, and Justin Bieber. It was his unlikely friendship with Bieber that eventually led to him being the opening act for the Canadian’s Purpose World Tour last year.
Now, Post Malone has embarked on his own solo tour to promote his debut album Stoney and upcoming project Beerbongs and Bentleys. The tour kicked off last month in Chicago and will bring the rapper to Miami later this month, where he will perform at Revolution Live in Fort Lauderdale on the 17th.
The tour couldn’t have come at a better time for Malone. He’s currently one of the most streamed artists on Spotify and his latest singles, “Congratulations” and “Rockstar,” recently reached the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100—proving that he’s not only one of the hottest names in rap, but music in general.
